Picture postcard of Lidice, Czechoslovakia (then German Occupied Bohemia Moravia), the town that was obliterated by the Nazis in retribution for the killing of SS Reichsprotektor Reinhard Heydrich. Virtually everyone in the town save a few children were murdered and every building blown up and/or razed -- the town was erased. A donation card published shortly after the war to fund the reconstruction of the town.
